Andy Coulson to face perjury trial in Scotland in January

Andy Coulson’s trial at The High Court in Glasgow, which saw the former News of the World editor face three charges of perjury, began with him offering no plea.Coulson’s barrister, Murdo MacLeod QC, entered no plea on his behalf in response to three charges of giving false evidence during the trial of Tommy Sheridan which led to the Scottish socialist politician being sentenced to three years in prison.The full trial is not expected to begin before next January.More details can be found on James Doleman’s report at The Drum.
